ワット・ポーカーオトーン (ワット・マイ・デーン)

バーンラジャン地区8丁目に位置し、1765年にアユタヤ王国を攻撃してきた敵軍に抵抗するためにバーンラジャンの英雄たちが拠点とした場所です。この寺院は「ワット・マイ・デーン」と呼ばれています。なぜなら、境内に硬材であるマイ・デーン（赤い木）の木が何本かあり、地元の人々が大切に守ってきたからです。境内のアルジャン・タムマチョート大師を祀るヴィーハラは、四方から拝めるヴィーハラ様式です。アルジャン・タムマチョート大師は、バーンラジャンの人々が尊敬し、敵との戦いで士気を高めてくれた人物でした。

さらに、アルジャン・タムマチョート大師の池、バーンラジャン陣営の英雄たちの霊を祀る祠が柵の近くにあります。寺院の正面には、歴史に基づいたバーンラジャン陣営の模型も再現されています。芸術局は1955年にワット・ポーカーオトーンを史跡として登録しました。また、ワット・ポーカーオトーン内にはバーンラジャン・レトロマーケットがあり、ユニークなレトロな雰囲気の市場です。
