Wat Na Phra That
ถนนบ้านจักรสีห์-บ้านสาธุ
Located in the Ban Phra Non Chakkrasi area, Chakkrasi Subdistrict. Originally called Wat Hua Mueang by the villagers. Later, during the reign of King Mongkut (Rama IV), it was renamed Wat Na Phra That. It is speculated that this area was the location of the old Sing Buri city.
关于此景点
Interesting features within the temple include the main prang, 8 wa high, shaped like a Garuda holding a club, decorated above the pedestal. Later, it was enhanced with early Ayutthaya architectural styles by adding brickwork to create niches on all four sides. From the laterite base upwards, it is constructed of brick with angled corners in the prang style. The prang finials are made of brick. To the east of the prang is the main viharn, to the west is the ubosot, and there are several round chedis arranged in a row, characteristic of late Ayutthaya architecture. The Fine Arts Department registered it as an ancient monument on March 8, 1935.
