Interesting places within the Bhumibol Dam reservoir include:

• Phra Phutthabat Doi Khao Nam is an island in the Bhumibol Dam reservoir. It has a temple on the mountain, Wat Phra Phutthabat. Inside the temple are the Buddha's footprint, a glass Buddha footprint, and a pavilion housing the main Buddha image. The surrounding area offers beautiful scenery.
• Valentine Island is a small island with a sandy beach suitable for swimming. You can visit Valentine Island and Phra Phutthabat by renting a boat from Bhumibol Dam, taking about 30 minutes. There are also raft tours by tugboat or cruise ship through various tourist attractions, including Phra Phutthabat Khao Nam, Valentine Island, Doi Chao Pho Luang, Khao Phra Phutthabat, Tham Aab Nang, and the ancient site of Kaeng Soi, continuing to Doi Tao in Chiang Mai Province, covering a total distance of 204 kilometers.
