วัดศรีสวาย ตั้งอยู่ทางตอนใต้ของวัดมหาธาตุ ห่างออกไปประมาณ 350 เมตร มีรูปแบบเป็นปราสาทเขมร 3 องค์เรียงกัน เป็นโบราณสถานที่สำคัญของวัด ลักษณะของปรางค์ค่อนข้างเพรียว ตั้งอยู่บนฐานเตี้ย ๆ ลวดลายปูนปั้นบางส่วน เหมือนลายบนเครื่องถ้วยจีน สมัยราชวงศ์หยวน เดิมพบทับหลังสลักเป็นรูปนารายณ์บรรทมสินธุ์ ชิ้นส่วนของเทวรูปและศิวลึงค์ในศาสนาฮินดู เชื่อว่าเป็นโบราณสถานในศาสนาฮินดูลัทธิไศวนิกาย เพราะมีรูปพระศิวะประทับนั่ง ภายในซุ้มด้านตะวันตกของปราสาทหลังกลาง ต่อมาภายหลังมีการสร้างเพิ่มเติมวิหารด้านหน้า เปลี่ยนแปลงเป็นวัดทางพุทธศาสนา
