About this Place
ตั้งอยู่บนเนินเขาที่มีความสูง 200 เมตร ชื่อวัดเรียกตามลักษณะทางที่ปูลาดด้วยหินจากตีนเขาขึ้นไป เป็นระยะทาง 300 เมตร ส่ิงที่น่าสนใจ ได้แก่ พระประธานเป็นพระพุทธรูปยืนขนาดใหญ่ น่าจะตรงกับที่ศิลาจารึกหลักที่ 1 กล่าวถึงเมืองสุโขทัยสมัยพ่อขุนรามคำแหง และน่าจะเป็นวัดที่พ่อขุนรามคำแหงทรงช้างเผือกชื่อ รูจาคีรี เพื่อไปนบพระในวัดนี้ทุกวันข้างขึ้นและแรม 15 ค่ำ
