About this Place
ตั้งอยู่ในตำบลท่าสายลวด เป็นวัดนิกายมหายานของชาวไทใหญ่ ได้รับอิทธิพลมาจากสาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมา สร้างเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2400 โดยนายมุ้ง เป็นชาวรัฐฉาน ต่อมาได้รับพระราชทานนามว่า “หมื่นอาจคำแหงหาญ” และในปี พ.ศ. 2500 กระทรวงศึกษาธิการได้ประกาศให้เป็นวัดพระพุทธศาสนาสังกัดกรมศาสนา ภายในวัดมีพระประธานคือ “พระพุทธมหามุนี” เป็นพระพุทธรูปที่จำลองมาจากพระพุทธมหามุนีอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์คู่บ้านคู่เมืองของชาวเมืองมัณฑะเลย์ สาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมา
