น้ำตกแม่ปาน เข้าทางเดียวกับน้ำตกห้วยทรายเหลือง แต่อยู่เลยไปอีก 500 เมตร และจากจุดจอดรถต้องเดินต่อไปอีก 800 เมตร ใช้เวลาประมาณ 10 นาที จึงถึงตัวน้ำตก น้ำตกแม่ปานนับว่าเป็นน้ำตกที่ยาวที่สุดของเชียงใหม่ น้ำจะตกลงมาจากหน้าผาซึ่งสูงกว่า 100 เมตร เบื้องล่างมีแอ่งน้ำรองรับอยู่ นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถลงอาบเล่นได้
