Royal Park Rajapruek

Located at the Chiang Mai Royal Agricultural Research Center, Mae Hia Subdistrict, it is a large forest park open as an agricultural and cultural tourist destination.

About this Place

Within the park, there are 3 sections: Thai Garden, showcasing tropical plants including fruits, flowers, ornamental plants, herbs, vegetables, and various types of mushrooms, as well as plants grown in greenhouses, which include desert plants, tropical plants, cold-climate plants, hydroponic plants, and rare species. Some areas display production technology and local crop processing. Next is the International Garden, displaying plant species from 24 different countries. Additionally, there is the Four Regions Village, showcasing the Thai way of life from each region. The most prominent part is the Ho Kham Luang, an elegant two-story building with Lanna architecture. Along the walkway to the Ho Kham Luang, it is adorned with golden Ratchaphruek flowers. Besides riding the electric tram to tour the park, bicycle rentals are also available for a comprehensive self-guided tour. Open daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
