อยู่ติดกับเขตตำบลแม่วะหลวงและตำบลท่าสองยาง คำว่า “ม่อนคลุย” ได้มาจากคำว่า “คลุยโคะ” ในภาษาปกาเกอะญอ แปลว่า “ภูเขาที่มีทุ่งหญ้าปกคลุมซึ่งเกิดจากธรรมชาติ” มีสภาพทางภูมิศาสตร์เป็นทุ่งหญ้าอยู่บนยอดเขาสลับกับป่าต้นไม้แคระ ด้วยสภาพเป็นที่โล่งแจ้ง ความสูงจากระดับทะเลปานกลาง 1,100 เมตร จึงทำให้ดอยม่อนคลุยเป็นจุดที่ชมทะเลหมอก พระอาทิตย์ขึ้น และพระอาทิตย์ตกที่สวยงาม
