Institute of Marine Science, Burapha University

The institute is divided into 3 sections: the Marine Aquarium, displaying various marine species inhabiting the coastline; followed by the Clownfish in Coral Reefs section, and strange-looking and venomous fish. In a 1,000-ton glass tank, large marine fish are displayed to provide them with ample space to swim. Upstairs is the Marine Science Museum, showcasing the stories of small marine life, marine ecosystems, and more. There is also a Shell Museum, an exhibition area of fishing boats and equipment, and a marine science research laboratory.

Open daily except Monday from 09:00 to 16:30 hrs. (If Monday falls on a public holiday, it will be open as usual). Watch the diving demonstration and fish feeding at 14:30 hrs. On holidays, additional sessions are at 10:30 and 14:30 hrs.

Admission Fees: Thai adults 80 Baht, children 40 Baht. Foreign adults 220 Baht, children 120 Baht.
