Wat Sa Prasan Suk (Wat Ban Na Mueang)

Located in Ban Na Mueang, Rai Noi Subdistrict, originally named Wat Ban Na Mueang. Established in 1930 by Phra Sasana Dilok (Sena Chitchano), the ecclesiastical governor of Ubon Ratchathani Province, abbot of Wat Sri Ubon Rattanaram, and the preceptor of Luang Pu Bunmi Chotipālo, the former abbot of Wat Sa Prasan Suk. Originally, this land was a coconut garden belonging to Khun Prasarn Thokij, who donated it to build the temple. The temple received its royal decree for boundary demarcation in 1962.

Interesting things within the temple include:

• The Ordination Hall on a Swan Boat, decorated with reddish-brown ceramics. The front of the ordination hall faces the head of the boat. The construction of the ordination hall on a boat signifies a vessel that will carry charitable Buddhists across the ocean of Samsara to the land of great Nirvana.
• The Middle-of-the-Water Hall, Naga-Head Boat, is a boat-shaped hall located in the middle of a pond. The front is a 5-headed Naga, and its body forms a walkway into the hall. The pond is home to a large number of fish.
• The Reliquary Museum of Phra Phawanawisal Ther, a place that preserves the belongings of Phra Phawanawisal Ther (Luang Pu Bunmi Chotipālo), the former abbot of Wat Sa Prasan Suk, and a monk highly respected by the people of Ubon Ratchathani and nearby provinces. Inside, there is a statue of Luang Pu Bunmi for worship.
• The Arch of Indra Riding the 3-Headed Erawan Elephant. This is the entrance arch to the temple, built by Luang Pu Bunmi based on ancient beliefs that elephants are large animals, and anyone who passes under the belly of an elephant will have a long and auspicious life.
