ตั้งอยู่ถนนเทพกระษัตรี ตำบลเทพกระษัตรี ภายในวัดมีพระผุด พระพุทธรูปปิดทองเหลืองอร่ามสวยงามผุดขึ้นมาจากพื้นเพียงครึ่งองค์ เป็นที่เคารพของชาวพุทธในพื้นที่เป็นอย่างมาก และยังมีพิพิธภัณฑสถานวัดพระทอง ที่เก็บรวบรวมข้าวของเครื่องใช้ของชาวภูเก็ตในยุคแรก ๆ เช่น จังชุ่ย ซึ่งเป็นเสื้อกันฝนที่มีความคงทนต่อการสวมใส่ทำงานในเหมืองแร่ดีบุก รองเท้าตีนตุกของสตรีเชื้อสายจีนที่ต้องมัดเท้าเพื่อให้มีขนาดเล็กตามค่านิยมของสังคมสมัยนั้น
