สร้างเมี่อ พ.ศ.2354 โดยหลวงพ่อสังข์เฒ่า รองเจ้าอาวาสวัดละหารใหญ่สมัยนั้น ครั้งแรกสร้างที่พักไว้เมื่อถึงเวลาเข้าพรรษา ก็จำพรรษาที่วัดละหารใหญ่ ต่อมามีผู้คนไปทำไร่ในแถบใกล้ ๆ นั้นมากขึ้น เห็นว่ามีพระสงฆ์อยู่จึงจัดภัตตาหารไปถวายเป็นประจำ ต่อมามีพระภิกษุไปอยู่เพิ่มมากขึ้น จึงได้ก่อสร้างกุฏิวิหาร ตั้งชื่อว่า วัดไร่วารี ต่อมาเปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น วัดละหารไร่ โดยมีหลวงพ่อเฒ่่าเป็นเจ้าอาวาสองค์แรก เกจิอาจารย์ที่มีลูกศิษย์มาก คือ หลวงปู่ทิม อิสริโก ภายในวัดประดิษย์ฐานหลวงปู่ทิมองค์ใหญ่ไว้ในพุทธศาสนิกชนสักการะกราบไหว้
