ตั้งอยู่หมู่ที่ 6 ตำบลทุ่งหว้า บนทางหลวงหมายเลข 416 บริเวณที่ทำการอำเภอทุ่งหว้า จัดตั้งเป็นศูนย์ข้อมูลทางวิชาการและแหล่งอนุรักษ์ทางธรณีวิทยา รวมถึงประชาสัมพันธ์ ส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ และสร้างความตระหนักของคนในท้องถิ่นในการหาแนวทางอนุรักษ์แหล่งทรัพยากรธรณี ซึ่งครอบคลุมพื้นที่ 4 อำเภอของจังหวัดสตูล คือ อำเภอเมืองสตูล อำเภอละงู อำเภอทุ่งหว้า อำเภอมะนัง มีลักษณะภูมิประเทศเป็นเทือกเขาหินปูน มีเกาะน้อยใหญ่ รวมถึงเป็นแหล่งค้นพบซากฟอสซิลในยุคดึกดำบรรพ์
