เป็นน้ำตกที่มีลักษณะเป็นหน้าผาสูงกว้าง คำว่า "ปาโจ" เป็นภาษามลายู ท้องถิ่นมีความหมายว่า "น้ำตก" ที่น้ำตกปาโจนี้มีทางขึ้นไปสู่ต้นน้ำเป็นชั้นๆ รวม 9 ชั้น นับว่าเป็นน้ำตกที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในจังหวัดและสวยงามแห่งหนึ่งของภาคใต้ เป็นแหล่งค้นพบ "ใบไม้สีทอง" แต่เนื่องจากสภาพป่าโดยรอบไม่สมบูรณ์นัก ในหน้าแล้งน้ำจึงค่อนข้างน้อย
