ตั้งอยู่ห่างจากที่ทำการอุทยานแห่งชาติภูเรือ ประมาณ 2 กิโลเมตร น้ำตกห้วยไผ่เป็นน้ำตกสูงชัน สายน้ำจะไหลตกลงมาตามผาหินที่สูงประมาณ 30 เมตร สวยงาม น้ำตกห้วยไผ่ถือเป็นแหล่งน้ำที่สำคัญในสมัยก่อนใช้เป็นแหล่งน้ำทำน้ำประปาให้แก่อำเภอภูเรือ หน้าฝนจะมีปริมาณน้ำมากและทิวทัศน์ที่สวยงาม ถ้าเป็นหน้าแล้งก็จะมีปริมาณน้ำน้อยลง มีโขดหิน น้ำใสสะอาด สวยงามมาก
