The hotel is owned by Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel Company Limited, a company established on October 24, 2003, with shareholding held by Airports of Thailand (60%), Thai Airways (30%), and Krungthai Bank (10%). Constructed by Italian-Thai Development, the property officially opened its doors on September 28, 2006, originally under the name Novotel Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport under Accor management. On February 1, 2025, the property officially transitioned into Hyatt Regency Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport under Hyatt Hotels Corporation, continuing its role as the flagship airport accommodation managed by Universal Hospitality.
