หาดหินวัดเวินไชยมงคลมีทิวทัศน์ธรรมชาติสวยงาม และมีหาดหินบริเวณกว้างโผล่ขึ้นมาในช่วงเวลาน้ำลดในหน้าแล้ง ประมาณเดือนมีนาคม-เมษายน ภายในวัดมีพระธาตุที่เก่าแก่ ใบเสมาโบราณและพระพุทธรูปเก่าแก่ปางสมาธิศิลปล้านช้าง ซึ่งมีพุทธลักษณะใบหน้าอวบอิ่มด้วยรอยยิ้ม ในช่วงวันออกพรรษาของทุกปี เทศบาลดอนตาลจะจัดให้มีประเพณีไหลเรือไฟโบราณ บริเวณริมฝั่งโขงหน้าหาด
