"Run to Protect Hua Hin" 6th Edition

At 7:00 AM on May 10, 2026, at Khao Klai Laht Temple, Khao Takiab Village, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Mr. Krip Rojanasetian, President of the 'Protect Hua Hin Club under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn', presided over the flag-off for over 3,000 runners in the "Hua Hin Marathon 2026, 6th Edition" (20th Run to Protect Hua Hin), competing for royal trophies from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Alongside him were representatives from government agencies, the private sector, distinguished guests, and the famous actress "Ann Thongprasom", who participated in the 10-kilometer mini-marathon, adding vibrancy to the event. The competition was divided into 4 distances: Marathon (42.195 km) competing for overall royal trophies from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (1 male, 1 female award), Half Marathon (21 km), Mini Marathon (10.5 km), and Fun Run (5 km). Following the completion of the race, an awards ceremony was held for the winners. "Hua Hin Marathon 2026" was organized to raise funds to support the activities of the Protect Hua Hin Club in preserving the environment within the Hua Hin City Municipality. It aims to foster a sense of responsibility for the care and conservation of the beach environment and to continuously support the project for the development of the last mangrove ecosystem in Hua Hin, covering 18 rai in the Khao Klai Laht Temple area. This initiative seeks to conserve it as a place for studying a complete ecosystem, as well as to develop it into an ecotourism center named "Krailas Ecotourism Project". Furthermore, it aims to promote Hua Hin as a health-focused tourist destination, stimulating the tourism economy within the city under the concept of 'Enjoy Your Life Enjoy @ Hua Hin'.
