เกี่ยวกับสถานที่นี้
Wat Phra That Chom Kitti is located in Mae Yim Subdistrict, Mae Sariang District, Mae Hong Son Province. It was originally called Phra That Chom Mati or Phra That Chom Mati, which is the local dialect. The Shan and Burmese call this temple Chom Mate, meaning the temple of the hermit.
Phra That Chom Kitti is a sacred relic that is the heart of the town and one of the temples housing important relics for the people of Mae Sariang, collectively known as "The Four Chom Relics". The architecture is in the Lanna style. The stupa is white on the outside with a golden spire. Inside, the Buddha's relics are enshrined. Tourists can climb up to admire the beautiful scenery of Mae Sariang District. Every year, on the 8th day of the waxing moon in June, a grand annual celebration is held.
