เกี่ยวกับสถานที่นี้

Located at Moo 7, Sukhumvit Road, Bangpu Mai Subdistrict, on an area of 26.5 rai, construction began in 1991. The architectural style of the shrine was inspired by the Nan Cun Shen Tai Tian Fu Foundation in Taiwan. The buildings feature authentic, grand, and magnificent Chinese architectural structures. The roof is adorned with auspicious creatures according to Chinese beliefs, including phoenixes and dragons. Stories of ancient Chinese beliefs and lifestyles are incorporated. From the roof to the eaves, intricate wood carvings are beautifully decorated with lacquer and gold leaf. Inside the main building is a sacred sanctuary. The front entrance leads to the hall of the five deities, "Wu Fu Xian Sui," consisting of the Li family ("Li Da Liang"), the Chi family ("Chi Meng Biao"), the Wu family ("Wu Xiao Kuan"), the Zhu family ("Zhu Shui Yu"), and the Fan family ("Fan Chen Ye"). There are also other deities revered by many people, including Cheng Huang Ye (City God), Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (Guan Yin), Prince Khanda (Virulhaka), Dharmapala (Eighteen Arhats), and Fude Zhen Shen (Pai Kong). However, the highlight that tourists must see and photograph as a memento is the pair of lions, the largest in Thailand, carved from green jade imported from China. According to Chinese beliefs, a pair of lions are considered auspicious creations, majestic and awe-inspiring. The pair of lions in front of the Tham Kayannu Foundation have been consecrated with sacred incantations by Taoist ascetics. The belief is that "these sacred lions can eliminate all evil spirits, ghosts, demons, and curses, and are an ancient Chinese tradition passed down for thousands of years." In addition, the foundation organizes several annual events, such as the Chinese New Year, Yuan Xiao Festival, the annual Teck Choo (charity alms giving), and the birthdays of each deity. Open daily from 08:00 to 17:00. For inquiries, call 0 2323 3120-4.
