History & Significance

The Rabam Wildlife Tourism Community Enterprise was established in Rabam Sub-district, Lan Sak District, Uthai Thani Province. Located along the buffer zone of the Huai Kha Khaeng World Heritage Site, the group was formed to support and promote community activities that provide local residents with sustainable occupations and income. By engaging the community in eco-tourism, this initiative fosters a collaborative effort to preserve the forest's natural abundance and protect local wildlife.

Highlights & What to See

The community offers several engaging eco-tourism activities for nature lovers:

• Thap Salao Reservoir Boat Trip: Enjoy a scenic boat ride to observe nature and spot wildlife around the Thap Salao Reservoir. Boat tours are available in two sessions: morning (06:00 - 09:00) and evening (15:00 - 17:30). The price is 650 THB per boat, accommodating up to 3 passengers.
• Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Breeding Station Car Tour: Take a guided car tour to explore nature and view wildlife at the breeding station. This activity is available from 09:00 to 16:00 at 1,300 THB per vehicle, accommodating up to 6 passengers.
• Ban Ton Mai Phrai Ngam Wildlife Study: Experience a unique overnight stay and wildlife study from 16:30 to 07:00. Homestay accommodation is available at 1,500 THB per house for 2 guests, which includes 2 meals.

Visitor Information
