Loei Dan

"Loei Dan" is located at Huai Kapho Village, Lak Dan Subdistrict. It is a miraculous natural stone courtyard and a geological learning center for Phetchabun Province. It is a large sandstone courtyard formed by the erosion of sand grains and pebbles carried by the currents of the Loei River flowing through this stone courtyard, creating numerous holes of varying sizes. Scholars refer to this type of erosion of sandstone layers as "Potholes". Five types of erosion can be observed: circular, oval, columnar, bridge-like, and lateral erosion. The best time to visit is April-May, when the beauty of the stone courtyard can be clearly seen.
