Anubot Temple (Khao Noi)

Pay homage to the brass replica of the Buddha's footprint, which is highly revered by the people of Aranyaprathet District, enshrined within the Ubosot (Ordination Hall) of Anubot Temple, also widely known as "Khao Noi Temple". Admire the beauty of the Ubosot, which features a unique Thai architectural style that is more distinctive than typical Ubosots. Notably, the roof of the Ubosot is a tall, pointed Thai style, divided into two tiers. The first tier has 6 gables, and the second tier has 4 gables, decorated in Thai artistic style. This Anubot Temple was built in 2468 B.E. (1925 C.E.), during the period when the Thai government was constructing the Eastern Railway Line of the 6th Reign, along the line from Ban Phaeo to the Thai border at Klong Luk, to foster friendly relations between Thailand and Cambodia.
