このアトラクションについて

Located in Ban Dan Subdistrict, it was built in B.E. 2536 (1993) and was officially declared a Buddhist temple on September 29, B.E. 2543 (2000), with Phra Khru Khemkhun Sophon (Luang Pu Chanram Khem Siri) as the abbot. Inside the temple, the Rattana Chedi Sri Buriram Maha That is enshrined. The foundation stone was laid on May 30, B.E. 2546 (2003), and construction began in B.E. 2547 (2004). It is intended to be a provincial pagoda for Buriram Province and a sacred monument to commemorate the Lord Buddha. The Maha Chedi has 4 levels, featuring a contemporary applied art style with Khmer influences. The base is 38 x 38 meters wide and 60 meters high. Its uses are allocated as follows: Level 1 is a multipurpose hall. Level 2 is a place for Vipassana meditation. Level 3 is the ordination hall, a museum, and a place to enshrine statues of venerable monks. Level 4 enshrines the Buddha's relics, which were presented by the Supreme Patriarch of the Siamese sect in Sri Lanka and Most Venerable Vimalaratana, abbot of Sri Weluwanarama Temple in Sri Lanka, to the abbot in B.E. 2547 (2004) for enshrinement at the Maha That Chedi. There is also a Bodhi sapling from India located behind the Rattana Chedi Sri Buriram Maha That.
