Wang Nok Aen Waterfall (Sakon Thayan National Forest Park)

Enjoy the small waterfall in the Wang Thong stream, originating from the Nam Khek river. The surrounding area is not only cool and refreshing with abundant knowledge from various plants, but to the west, you will find a pavilion built to welcome His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen during their royal visit to the North on September 28, 1958. To the east, you will find a waterside pavilion, which both Their Majesties used as a place to observe the scenery on both banks of the Wang Thong river. For those who want to relax in a quiet corner, try visiting Kaeng Sai, a rocky rapid in the middle of the river, located 500 meters before this waterfall. There is a sign indicating the right turn to Kaeng Sai, where you will find a silent paradise amidst pure nature.
