Vajiralongkorn Dam (Khao Laem Dam)

Vajiralongkorn Dam (Khao Laem Dam) is located at 444 Moo 1, Thung Khanun Subdistrict, built across the Khwae Noi River. It is Thailand's first rockfill dam with a concrete-faced surface, measuring 92 meters high, 10 meters wide at the crest, and 1,019 meters long. It was constructed to generate electricity, prevent floods, and support agriculture. The reservoir is situated in the Tong Pha Phum and Sangkhlaburi Districts, with a storage capacity of 8,860 million cubic meters. The average annual inflow is 5,500 million cubic meters. Above the dam, there are beautiful scenic views suitable for boat trips. The dam also offers raft accommodations.
