Originally a Chinese temple, it has now transformed into a Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhist temple. Inside the temple, there is a viharn resembling a shrine, which houses the statue of Luang Por To (Phra Trairatthanayok), also known by the Chinese as "Chao Por Sampokong." There are only three such statues in Thailand, enshrined at Wat Kalayanamit (Thonburi side) in Bangkok, Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, and Uphaibartikaram Temple in Chachoengsao Province. Furthermore, inside the ordination hall are statues of Bodhisattva Guan Yin, Arhats, and various deities according to the beliefs of Chinese or Vietnamese temples.
