ทะเลสาบทุ่งกุลา อยู่ตำบลไพรขลา แต่เดิมพื้นที่บริเวณนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของทุ่งกุลาร้องไห้ จนเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2550 ได้มีการขุดลอกพื้นที่ทำเป็นแก้มลิงกักเก็บน้ำไว้แก้ไขปัญหาความแห้งแล้ง ต่อมากรมชลประทานได้ทำการขุดพื้นที่กว่า 750 ไร่ ให้เป็นหนองน้ำขนาดใหญ่ และเปลี่ยนชื่อมาเป็น "ทะเลสาบทุ่งกุลา" บริเวณโดยรอบทะเลสาบมีเส้นทางปั่นจักรยาน ศาลาชมทิวทัศน์ และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก เปิดให้เข้าชมทุกวันตั้งแต่เวลา 08.00 - 1 8.00 น. สอบถามข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมได้ที่ 0 4451 4447-8
