このアトラクションについて

Located on Ban Na Rang Road, Ban Nong Bua, Nai Mueang Subdistrict, built in the 18th century B.E. by "Bhaisajyaguru Vaidurya Prabha" during the Chenla period under King Jayavarman VII. Prang Ku is a Khmer-style stone castle with a layout similar to an Arogyasala (hospital). In the 18th century B.E., it had a main prang in the center, with a vihara or library in front, enclosed by a laterite wall. Outside the wall, in the northeast corner, there is a pond. It remains in good condition. The main prang has a square plan of 5 meters, with 12-angled corners.
The front has an entrance with a protruding porch. The walls of the other 3 sides are false doors, carved in the center with a Buddha image in the meditation posture, holding a garland with both hands. On the left and right sides are carvings of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva with 4 arms and the image of Prajnaparamita. The front also has a lintel, presumed to be carved with the same image, but it is now very worn. In the northern false door, there is a smooth stone Buddha image in the meditation posture, Dvaravati style, 1.75 meters high and 7.5 meters wide at the lap. This statue was moved from elsewhere.
