このアトラクションについて
Located on Ban Na Road, Nong Bua Village, Nai Mueang Sub-district. Built in the 12th century by "Bhaisajyaguru Vaiduryaprabha" during the Chenla period under King Jayavarman VII. Prang Ku is a Khmer stone castle with a layout similar to Arogyasala or medical facilities of the 12th century, consisting of a central main prang, a vihara or library in front, surrounded by laterite walls. Outside the walls, there is a pond in the northeast corner. The main prang has a square plan of 5 meters, with a twelve-angled indented design. The front has an entrance made of a protruding hall. The walls of the other 3 sides are false doors, with carvings in the center depicting the Buddha in the meditation posture, holding a garland with both hands. On the left and right sides are carvings of the Four-armed Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva and the goddess Prajnaparamita. The front also has a lintel, presumed to be carved with the same image, but it is now heavily faded. In the northern false doorway, there is a stone Buddha image in the meditation posture, Dvaravati style, 1.75 meters high and 7.5 meters wide at the lap, which was moved from elsewhere.
