Khao Khuean Lan Viewpoint is situated within the peaceful grounds of Wat Khao Khuean Lan in Nakhon Ratchasima province. The area is managed under the responsibility of the Department of Corrections. A key spiritual highlight of the site is a large, serene white Buddha image enshrined within the temple grounds, positioned to face directly towards the expansive Lam Takhong Dam, symbolizing peace and protection over the surrounding landscape.

The main attraction is the stunning panoramic viewpoint that overlooks the vast waters of the Lam Takhong Dam, offering excellent photo opportunities. Visitors can also pay respects to the beautiful white Buddha statue. Additionally, the site features the "Cook & Coff @ Khlong Phai" cafe, a unique establishment managed by the Khao Phrik Agricultural Industry Correctional Institution. The cafe serves a variety of drinks, coffee, and delicious snacks, providing a relaxing atmosphere for visitors while supporting rehabilitation programs.

Khao Khuean Lan Viewpoint is open daily from 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM. Admission to the viewpoint and temple grounds is free of charge. Visitors are advised to dress respectfully as the viewpoint is located within a temple area.

How to Get There

The viewpoint is located at Wat Khao Khuean Lan in the Khlong Phai area of Nakhon Ratchasima province. It can be reached by private car or local transport heading towards the Lam Takhong Dam area.
