He was recognized as a "Distinguished Person in Culture, Handicraft Field, Casting Branch" for the year 1983, and received an honorary Doctorate of Arts from Srinakarinvirot University and Silpakorn University, as well as being honored as a "Good Person of Phitsanulok".
