หนองเล็งทราย มีเนื้อที่ 5,500 ไร่ แหล่งน้ำธรรมชาติ เป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของลำน้ำอิง ปัจจุบันใช้ประโยชน์ในเชิงเกษตรกรรม ประมงพื้นบ้าน และเป็นสถานที่พักผ่อนหย่อนใจ เพราะมีภูมิทัศน์สวยงาม บริเวณรอบหนองน้ำมีร้านอาหารให้บริการ และมีผลิตภัณฑ์ของชุมชนที่ขึ้นชื่อคือ "น้ำปู" เป็นอาหารดั้งเดิมของทางภาคเหนือ ที่ตั้ง : อำเภอแม่ใจ จังหวัดพะเยา การเดินทาง จากตัวอำเภอแม่ใจ ใช้ทางหลวงหมายเลข 1 เส้นทางไปเชียงราย จนถึงแยกศรีบุญเรือง เลี้ยวขวาเข้าถนนพหลโยธินสายใน ตรงไปประมาณ 1 กิโลเมตร เลี้ยวซ้ายเข้าถนนข้างวัดโพธารามไปจนสุดทาง
