Ganesha Shrine Park (Utthayan Thewasathan Phra Phikhanet)

History & Significance

Ganesha Shrine Park (Utthayan Thewasathan Phra Phikhanet) was established in 2009 in Klang Daet Subdistrict, Nakhon Sawan. It was built from the deep faith and devotion of Mae Daeng and her family towards Lord Ganesha. Their vision was to create a local place of worship where residents and visitors could easily pay respects and seek blessings close to home.

Highlights & What to See

The main highlight of the park is the giant pink Ganesha statue depicted in a blessing posture (Pang Prathan Phon). Devotees believe that prayers made here will be fully answered and fulfilled.

In addition to the Ganesha statue, visitors can explore the following features:

• Tamnak Mae Daeng: A beautiful two-story wooden building.
• Naga Statues: Along the walkway leading to the pavilion, there are two gracefully sculpted Naga statues representing Pho Pu Naka Sri Suttho and Mae Ya Nakee Sri Pathumma, with their long bodies stretching towards the building.
• Other Sacred Statues: The park houses several other revered figures for worship, including Phaya Chorakhe (the crocodile king), Pu Reusi Chiwok Komarabhaj (the patron of traditional medicine), and Phra Narai Song Khrut (Vishnu riding Garuda).

Visitor Information

Ganesha Shrine Park is open daily from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM. Admission is free of charge. Visitors are advised to dress respectfully when visiting this sacred site. Parking facilities are available on-site.
