Prachuap Bay Fancy Kite Festival Project

As the Prachuap Khiri Khan City Municipality has a policy to promote and upgrade tourism activities in the Prachuap Bay area to stimulate the grassroots economy and create sustainable income for local people and entrepreneurs. It has been designated to organize the "Prachuap Bay Fancy Kite Festival Project for the fiscal year 2026" on May 15-16, 2026, at the beach of the Prachuap Khiri Khan City Municipality park and the Saranchit Bridge area, Mueang District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The Prachuap Khiri Khan City Municipality invites the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Prachuap Khiri Khan Office, to jointly organize the event in terms of public relations to create broad awareness among the public and tourists.
Therefore, the Prachuap Khiri Khan Office has considered that the said festival is in line with the project "Your Gateway to Wellness, Good Health Starts in Prachuap". To increase tourist spending and encourage longer stays through tourism experiences in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, as well as to integrate operations in promoting tourism to encourage travel and stimulate spending in the area. The Prachuap Khiri Khan Office will jointly organize the public relations expenses, partly within a budget of 30,000 baht, using the TAT Prachuap Khiri Khan Office's 2026 marketing budget, Strategy 1: Expand the quality tourist market base, Action plan 1.1: Promote longer stays through tourism experiences (stories and activities), Project Your Gateway to Wellness, Good Health Starts in Prachuap, and requests permission to use the Amazing Thailand logo on promotional materials for the event.
