About this Place
ตั้งอยู่ตำบลในเมือง บนเทือกเขาภูเวียงที่มีความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของป่าไม้ บริเวณวัดมีศาลาไม้ขนาดใหญ่เพื่อใช้ปฏิบัติกิจกรรมทางศาสนา ซึ่งเกิดจากแรงศรัทธาของชาวบ้านโคกหนองขามและหมู่บ้านใกล้เคียง สิ่งที่น่าสนใจภายในวัด คือรูปปั้นพญานาคขนาดใหญ่ ที่ตั้งอยู่บริเวณทางขึ้นวิหาร และพระพุทธรูปขนาดใหญ่ที่ประดิษฐานอยู่ด้านบนสุดของวิหาร นอกจากนี้ภายในวิหารยงประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปหยกปางสมาธิ จำลองแบบมาจากพระแก้วมรกต เพื่อให้ผู้ที่มาเยือนสักการะเพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคล
