About this Place
วัดศรีสุมังค์วนาราม ตั้งอยู่ริมแม่น้ำโขง ถนนสำราญชายโขงใต้ ห่างจากวัดยอดแก้วศรีวิชัยประมาณ 300 เมตร พระประธานภายในวิหารเป็นพระพุทธรูปปางนาคปรก พุทธลักษณะแบบลาว นอกจากนี้ ยังมีพระธาตุ 2 องค์ ตั้งอยู่ข้างสิมหรือโบสถ์เก่าแก่ โดยองค์ด้านหน้าเป็นเจดีย์ศิลปะล้านช้าง รูปทรงเดียวกับพระธาตุศรีสองรัก จังหวัดเลย ซึ่งพบมากในอีสานและลาว อีกองค์ขนาดใหญ่กว่า มีชื่อว่า พระธาตุศรีสุมงคล ซึ่งมีลักษณะคล้ายกับพระธาตุพนม จังหวัดนครพนม
