About this Place
ตั้งอยู่บ้านหว้านใหญ่ ตำบลหว้านใหญ่ บริเวณริมแม่น้ำโขง ภายในวัดมีโบราณสถานที่น่าสนใจ คือ สิม(พระอุโบสถ) เก่าแก่ สร้างขึ้นเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2459 โดยช่างชาวเวียดนาม ภายในมีจิตรกรรมฝาผนังอันวิจิตรงดงามเรื่องพระเวสสันดรชาดก และภาพเหตุการณ์ที่สมเด็จกรมพระยาดำรงราชานุภาพประทับนั่งอยู่บนเกวียนเมื่อครั้งเสด็จตรวจหัวเมืองในมณฑลอีสาน นอกจากนี้ภายในวัดยังมีอาคารทรงยุโรปอายุเก่าแก่ เคยใช้เป็นที่ทำการกิ่งอำเภอหว้านใหญ่ในอดีตเมื่อเกือบร้อยปีมาแล้ว โดยกรมศิลปากรได้ประกาศขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นโบราณสถานไว้แล้ว
