วัดเก่าแก่อายุนับร้อยปี สร้างเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2413 ผูกพัทธสีมาครั้งแรก พ.ศ. 2468 ความน่าสนใจอยู่ที่การค้นพบพระรูปเหมือนหลวงพ่อเงินขนาดหน้าตักกว้าง 5 นิ้ว เนื้อนวโลหะ (ทองเหลือ) ที่แทรกขึ้นมาบริเวณต้นอินทนิล เมื่อวันที่ 17 เดือนกุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2538 ซึ่งหลวงพ่อเงินนั้นเป็นพระเกจิอาจารย์ที่ประชาชนทั่วไปรู้จักและเคารพนับถือเป็นจำนวนมาก และจากนั้นมาวัดแห่งนี้ก็เป็นที่รู้จักของชาวพิจิตร มีผู้คนแวะเวียนมาเยี่ยมชมอย่างไม่ขาดสาย
