About this Place
ヴァチラロンコンダム（カオ・レムダム）は、444 Moo 1, Tha Khanun Subdistrictに位置し、クワイノーイ川を堰き止めて建設されました。タイ初のコンクリート表面仕上げのロックフィルダムで、高さ92メートル、ダム天端幅10メートル、全長1,019メートルです。発電、洪水防止、農業用水の管理を目的として建設されました。貯水池はトンパプーム郡とサンクラブリー郡の地域にあり、貯水容量は88億6,000万立方メートル、年間の平均流入量は55億立方メートルです。
ダム上流エリアは美しい景色が広がり、ボートクルーズに適しています。ダム内には宿泊用いかだも利用できます。
