Tham Si Mongkhon Cave (Din Phiang Cave)
About this Place
Located in Ban Dong Tong, Pha Tang Subdistrict, locals call it the Naga Cave. In front of the cave, there are shrines for Phou In Nakaracha and Mae Ya Ket Nakaracha, for tourists to pay homage and seek forgiveness before entering the cave.
According to legend, this cave was used as an entrance and exit route between the underworld and the human world. This earth cave resembles the underwater realm of the Naga. Inside, it is humid with water flowing throughout the year. There are stone formations resembling intentionally placed pillars. Those who wish to closely experience the underworld should study the cave's interior paths thoroughly, strictly adhere to the visiting rules, and contact a guide. Entering alone is strictly prohibited.
Open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
For inquiries, contact Pha Tang Subdistrict Administrative Organization at Tel. 0 4241 4855.
