ตำหนักอ๋องฮกเกี้ยน สร้างขึ้นเพื่อใช้ที่สักการะและเป็นเครื่องยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจให้รำลึกถึงบรรพบุรุษและได้อัญเชิญองค์เทพเจ้าแลฮู้อ๋องเอียกงมาจากมณฑลฮกเกี้ยน จำนวน 3 องค์ มาประดิษฐานเป็นเจ้าองค์ประธานในศาลเจ้าฮกเกี้ยน ภายหลังได้มีการอัญเชิญองค์เทพเจ้ามาร่วมศาลอีก 2 องค์ คือ เจ้าแม่กวนอิม และ เจ้าแม่ทับทิม นอกจากจะมีเทพเจ้าที่ศักดิ์สิทธิ์แล้วจุดเด่นของศาลอีกหนึ่งจุดคือ มังกรหน้าศาลที่สามารถพ่นน้ำได้ ซึ่งคนที่มากราบไหว้ถือกันว่าน้ำที่มังกรพ่นออกมานั่นคือน้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์
