About this Place
สถานแสดงพันธุ์ปลาแห่งนี้ทางกรมประมงได้จัดสร้างขึ้นเนื่องในมหามงคลเฉลิมพระชนมพรษา 5 รอบของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2530 โดยสร้างเป็นรูปดาว 9 แฉก มีพื้นที่ 400 ตารางเมตร ยื่นลงไปในบึงสีไฟ ภายในประกอบด้วยตู้จัดแสดงพันธุ์ปลาฝังผนัง ขนาด 0.5 ลูกบาศก์เมตร จำนวน 12 ตู้ ที่น่าสนใจคือตรงส่วนกลางของตัวอาคารออแบบให้เป็นช่องเปิดสำหรับชมปลาในบึงสีไฟ ซึ่งมีพันธุ์ปลาชนิดต่าง ๆ มารอกินอาหารจากนักท่องเที่ยว
