About this Place
The Phetchabun Intaratchai Archeological Museum is located on Phetcharoen Road, Mueang Phetchabun District, Phetchabun Province. It was originally the site of the old provincial hall, built in 1962. It has been renovated to serve as an archeological museum to present the history, archeology, culture, traditions, and way of life of the people of Phetchabun Province from the past to the present. The highlight of this place is the contemporary display of Phetchabun's artifacts in the 'Phetchabun Treasure Room' and the use of digital media and technology to present the stories of Phetchabun Province in an interesting way.
In addition, a replica of the old Phetchabun town area is displayed within the archeological museum, making it one of the most modern historical learning centers in the North. It also houses the Phetchabun City Municipality's Tourist Service Center.
Open daily Monday-Thursday from 08:30 AM to 04:30 PM. Friday from 08:30 AM to 08:00 PM. Saturday-Sunday from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM.
