เป็นเกาะขนาดเล็ก อยู่ห่างจากเกาะหมากไปทางทิศตะวันตกประมาณ 6 กิโลเมตร บนเกาะมีที่ราบเฉพาะหน้าหาดเพียงเล็กน้อยเท่านั้น เป็นที่ตั้งของหน่วยพิทักษ์อุทยานฯ บริเวณรอบ ๆ มีเกาะน้อยใหญ่อยู่จำนวนมาก เช่น เกาะรังใหญ่ เกาะรังเล็ก เกาะกระ เกาะเทียน เกาะทองหลวง เกาะยักษ์ เกาะสามพี่น้อง เกาะมะปริง เกาะตุ๊น และเกาะกำปั่น เป็นต้น
เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวดำน้ำหลักของหมู่เกาะทะเลตราด
