เขื่อนลำนางรอง อยู่ห่างจากอนุสาวรีย์เราสู้ไป 200 เมตร เป็นพื้นที่โครงการพัฒนาเพื่อความมั่นคงตามพระราชดำริ เขื่อนลำนางรองเป็นเขื่อนดิน มีถนนลาดยางบนสันเขื่อนสำหรับชมทัศนียภาพ และมีร้านอาหารที่ตั้งอยู่ริมอ่างเก็บน้ำ นอกจากเขื่อนนี้จะเก็บน้ำไว้ใช้ในด้านการเกษตรแล้วยังได้รับการปรับปรุงเป็นสถานที่พักผ่อนหย่อนใจ มีบ้านพักรับรอง ห้องประชุม และค่ายพักแรม ติดต่อสำนักงานโครงการส่งน้ำและบำรุงรักษาลำนางรองซึ่งอยู่ก่อนถึงสันเขื่อนในเวลาราชการ โทร. 0 4460 6336 ต่อ 159 ในบริเวณเดียวกันยังมีโรงงานหลวงอาหารสำเร็จรูป (ดอยคำ) ผลิตผักผลไม้กระป๋อง อาทิ ข้าวโพดอ่อน หน่อไม้ และน้ำมะเขือเทศ
