บึงทะเลบัน เป็นบึงน้ำจืดขนาดใหญ่กลางหุบเขา ขนาบด้วยเทือกเขาจีนและเขาวังประ มีเนื้อที่ประมาณ 125 ไร่ มีปลาน้ำจืดและหอยชุกชุม รอบบึงจะมี "ต้นบากง" พืชน้ำหายากขึ้นอยู่หนาแน่น ทางอุทยานฯ ได้สร้างศาลาท่าน้ำไว้ให้นักท่องเที่ยวได้นั่งพักผ่อนและมีทางเดินไม้รอบบึง
