Bueng Phlan Chai

Located in the heart of Roi Et city, it is a symbol of the province. It is a large pond decorated with flower gardens and various shady plants. The pond is home to various species of fish. Looking down at Bueng Phlan Chai from Phra Maha Chedi Chai Mongkol will resemble a map of Thailand. It is also used as a venue for various festivals of the province. Within Bueng Phlan Chai, there is also a sacred place, the City Pillar Shrine, which the people of Roi Et respect and believe that the City Pillar God will bring happiness to the city dwellers and grant their wishes. Therefore, it is another place where the people of Roi Et come to pay homage and ask for blessings. A large, walking Buddha statue amidst flower gardens, Constitution pedestal, flower clock, Phu Phlan Chai, which is a replica waterfall, and various animal statues resembling a zoo, a playground, and a health park.
